Religions

Religion is one of those topics that I don’t like to talk about much. I love to learn about it though, I’m a strange kid. I love to learn about my own religion and other religion as well. I see religion as a way to connect to different cultures and their way of life. What I don’t understand is the need to convert one individuals from one religion to another. I have encountered a very nice man who wanted to talk to me about Jesus Christ, and I told him my family is Buddhist. He was very polite and understanding, I told him my mom might be interested into reading the bible and if he could get a copy in Vietnamese. One week later, he came back with one.

I had another encounter with a different individuals who was pushing extremely hard to make me convert over to Christianity. I studied it, read the scripted, but I would like to remained to my family religion. The one my grandfather and his before him grew up with. He keep pressing on and all I wanted to do is watch the firework. Honestly, next time I’m just gonna have to go with, “I’m all set on the salvation. If I go to hell, then I go to hell. It’s okay, you don’t have to save me. I can do that on my own terms. Thank you and have a wonderful day.”

"It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma" Winston Churchill

I love this quote a lot. It does a thorough job explains the inner working of my mind.
